The last few minutes,
always already recorded.
REPLAYD keeps a rolling buffer of your screen in memory. When something worth keeping happens, press a key — it writes what already happened to disk. No recording to remember to start, no window to keep on top.
What it does
Runs in the tray
A background service buffers continuously and stays out of the way. The window is for setting things up, not for keeping open.
Encodes on the GPU
NVENC, AMD AMF, and Intel Quick Sync. Capture and encode both stay on the graphics card, so the buffer costs you very little.
Keeps HDR as HDR
10-bit capture that records HDR without flattening it to grey, on a display and a player that understand it.
Per-game settings
Profiles for a whole configuration and presets for the video settings, so one game's bitrate isn't every game's bitrate.
Replay and recording, separately
The buffer lives in memory and the recording lives on disk. They get their own bitrate, rate control, and frame rate.
Nothing phones home
No ads and no tracking. Settings, the game list, and the log all sit in your own AppData, per user.
