Terms of Service

What this is

REPLAYD is a screen recording application for Windows, made by an independent developer in Madrid, Spain. This site is replayd.download; you can reach us at [email protected]. The seller of record for every purchase is Paddle. The operator's legal identification is at the foot of this page.

If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the software.

Your license

Every subscription is preceded by a 30-day free trial, which starts when you install REPLAYD and asks for no payment details. While your trial or subscription is active, you have a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use REPLAYD on machines you own or control, for your own recording.

The license is for using the software, not owning it. You may not resell, rent out or redistribute REPLAYD, and you may not reverse engineer or decompile it except where the law expressly allows it regardless of these terms.

These terms also cover the third-party components REPLAYD includes, such as Microsoft's .NET runtime; their own licenses are listed in the open-source notices that come with REPLAYD.

Buying and paying

Purchases are made through Paddle, the merchant of record. Paddle is the seller of record for the transaction: they run the checkout, take the payment, issue the invoice and handle VAT. Their buyer terms apply to the purchase itself, alongside these.

The subscription renews monthly until you cancel. Cancel at any time and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. To cancel, use Manage the subscription on the License page in REPLAYD, the link in any Paddle receipt, or write to [email protected]. REPLAYD is digital content supplied by download, and your license begins the moment the payment goes through; where you consent to that at checkout, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to the payment. Your statutory rights where the software is faulty are unaffected.

What you record

What you capture with REPLAYD is yours, and it is your responsibility. Record things you have the right to record, and respect other people's rights, including in what you capture of games, voices and streams. REPLAYD writes recordings only to your own machine and sends nothing anywhere; see the privacy page.

Warranty and liability

REPLAYD is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise it will be free of faults or fit for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect losses: a missed clip, a corrupted recording, or damage said to follow from either. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid for the software in the twelve months before the claim.

None of this limits rights that consumer law gives you and does not let us take away, including the statutory guarantees EU consumers have for digital content.

Trademarks

League of Legends is a trademark of Riot Games, Inc. Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 are trademarks of Valve Corporation. Rocket League is a trademark of Psyonix LLC. Discord, X, Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, NVIDIA, AMD and Stream Deck are trademarks of their owners, named only to say what REPLAYD works with. REPLAYD is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.

REPLAYD isn't endorsed by Riot Games and doesn't reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing Riot Games properties. Riot Games, and all associated properties are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc.

Law and changes

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep any mandatory protections of the country you live in, and you may bring disputes before your own courts.

If these terms change in a way that matters, the change will be announced on this site before it takes effect, and the date below updated.
