What changed

Each version's notes, newest first. REPLAYD shows the same notes in its settings.

Releases

0.9.72

11 October 2026

  • REPLAYD has a new look. Home shows your last session at a glance, and the new History page lists every session and match, with League of Legends rows showing runes, items and CS.
  • The free trial now lasts 30 days, and every current trial has been given 30 more days.
  • If your internet provider blocks the licensing server, as some Spanish providers do during football matches, REPLAYD keeps working until the block lifts.
  • If REPLAYD closes unexpectedly it starts again on its own, and it opens faster, in about 1.7 seconds instead of 3.1. A new Diagnostics card copies details about your PC or saves a support file to attach to an email.
  • Recordings are kept and finished even when the drive fills up or a write fails, and sound stays in step when you change audio devices or Windows audio restarts.
  • The Player zooms in with Ctrl and the mouse wheel. The Editor makes captions for just a range, and you can edit the portrait version right beside the landscape one.
  • Keyboard shortcuts keep working while a game run as administrator is in front. Button boxes that report several ranges now count each press once, so shortcuts recorded on one need to be set again.

0.9.71

8 October 2026

  • REPLAYD can record your webcam beside the game and show it over your clips. A new Overlays page places and styles it for landscape and portrait, and it can remember a spot for each game.
  • The input overlay records your keys, mouse and controller while you play and shows them on your clips. It is off until you turn it on, and what it records stays tied to your Windows account.
  • Captions are made on your PC from what you say, with nothing sent anywhere. They come in four looks, mark the word being said, and can be edited in the editor.
  • The editor gains tracks, pictures and sound, a portrait 9:16 version beside the normal one (export either or both), crop and rotate, movable blurs, picture adjustments, and exporting just a range of the edit.
  • The Player and the editor open MKV, WebM, MOV, AVI, WMV and TS videos, and HEIC, AVIF, WebP and JPEG XL pictures. Playback is smoother, especially at 2x.
  • Each kind of file can now be deleted after an age limit as well as at a storage limit, and Settings is reorganized into clearer pages with a new Status page.
  • League of Legends Arena matches show the teams, places and result, and every new line in the app is translated into all seven languages.

0.9.69

29 September 2026

  • Dota 2 joins Game Events: kills with their multikills, deaths, assists, Roshan and the start and end of a match are marked on the timeline. It is off until you turn it on, and the Game Events card shows the launch option Dota 2 needs.
  • HDR screenshots are saved as HDR PNG or Ultra HDR JPEG, which open in far more places than JPEG XR, and stills from the editor keep HDR too. Copy as SDR puts an ordinary copy on the clipboard.
  • HDR clips and pictures record how bright the game really got, so they show at the right brightness elsewhere and when made SDR, even with an FPS counter on screen.
  • The Library's tabs can be dragged into any order, and folders you use less can be tucked into a drop-down list. Export, import, Restore defaults and uninstall now include the Library's folders and tab order.
  • The Stream Deck keys are redrawn to match the app, in two looks, with new keys for the editor, dials, capture and REPLAYD's status.
  • The editor can cancel a file that is still opening or clips being joined, shows its tools only once a file has opened, and a join keeps every clip's audio tracks.
  • Recording no longer drops frames in games that keep the graphics card fully busy, and more games are found when REPLAYD records any game.

0.9.68

28 September 2026

  • The editor works like a video editor's timeline: cut a clip into pieces, move and trim them, give each its own speed, and fade between them.
  • Several clips can be edited together into one, and parts of the picture can be blurred or zoomed into.
  • Push to talk and a noise gate for the microphone.
  • The Library can show folders you add, each on its own tab.
  • On an HDR display, a game drawn in SDR is recorded exactly as it looks.
  • Sound stays in step with the picture in the player and in exports, and no longer drops out while the graphics card is busy.
  • Starting a recording no longer interrupts the replay, and Medal clips no longer play every sound twice.

0.9.67

24 September 2026

  • "Only capture the game's audio" can keep the apps you choose, so voice chat stays in your clips without notifications or music.
  • The player can delete the clip or picture it shows, and a file the recycle bin cannot take is no longer deleted for good without asking.
  • One notification card for the window and the desktop, with Open and Show in Library on it, and a simpler Notifications page.
  • The sidebar and the tray card show the codec and bitrate being recorded.
  • Exports keep the original file's date, and a clip that already fits a place is sent as it is.
  • Changing the language updates the whole window at once, dates and month names included.
  • Fixes for several crashes and audio glitches, and the window reopens where you left it.
